Caloric Cycling: The Every Other Day Diet Review

The Every Other Day Diet plan is based on caloric cycling other wise know as caloric shifting and calorie cycling.  The idea behind caloric cycling is that the body must not be allowed to adjust to a routine or else it will plateau and you will find your self dieting away with little or no fat loss.  One very pleasant side effect of caloric cycling is “feed days”.  Man, you can tuck into a 16 inch pizza on those days, or some jelly filled d

oughnuts.  Not only are these days allowed, they are required for this diet.

This makes The Every Other Day Diet plan really easy to stick with. But does Jon Benson’s The Every Other Day Diet work?  Yes, if you follow the plan, actually there are three plans with this ebook and a years worth of support.  There is a reason that this diet has been soaring in popularity and I think it is due to the feed days.

Traditional Diets: Strip That Fat Review: Strip That Fat, Does It Work?

Strip That Fat is based on the traditional diet model, manage what you eat so that you take in fewer calories than you put out.  This, of course, is the basis of all diets but as you will see later in this article there are some twists to this traditional tale.

A Strip that fat download will cost around $49 and that gives you the eBook, a menu planner, and access to forum support for life.  The menu planner helps you prepare two week low calorie menus from the foods you chose. For about $10 extra you can get a wonderful calorie guide that is very complete.

Advantages of Strip That Fat

›› Chose your own foods

›› Proven track record

›› No time commitments

›› Moderate Exercise

›› Teaches you how to maintain your weight loss

›› Money back guarantee

Disadvantages:

›› Plateauing

›› Requires Will Power

›› Weight loss is gradual

›› Takes a long time to lose a lot of weight

›› Restrictive

Strip That Fat, does it work?  The answer is yes, if you stick with the plan.  Nothing really fancy and nothing you couldn’t do on your own if you had the time to do the research and pull all of the facts and material together.  Still, it is a great value at $49.

The hCG Protocol: The hGC Diet

This was a diet protocol written by Dr. Simeons in the 1950’s in a report called Pounds and Inches.  You take hCG (do not buy homeopathic hCG) which causes your fat cells to make their fat available for the body to burn as energy.  Then you go on a very low calorie (500 a day) diet.  The body makes up the difference by burning your fat, up to 2000 to 2500 calories of it a day.  You drop weight like a stone.

Advantages of the hGC diet:

›› Very rapid fat loss with no baggy skin

›› Steady fat loss with no plateauing

›› 3/4 to 2 pounds of fat are lost a day without losing muscle

›› No real hunger

›› Little to no exercise required

Disadvantages:

›› Cravings

›› Very restricted diet

›› No touching of certain kinds of oils

›› No cheating at all

›› You must make a minimum commitment of 6 weeks

The hGC Diet is a boot-camp type diet but boy does it work.  I know because i have tried it myself.  If you do this diet AVOID HOMEOPATHIC hCG!  Those drops often do not even contain measurable amounts of the hGC hormone and if you substitute homeopathic hCG for genuine hCG you could damage yourself on a 500 calorie a day diet.
